It's a Bird...It's a Plane...It's Valery Rozov!!! (VIDEO)

Russian extreme sports star Valery Rozov performs worlds highest BASE jump - off the north face of Everest - to mark the 60th anniversary of Edmund Hillary's first ascent.

The 48 year-old jumped at a height of 7,220-metres (23,687-feet) above sea level - the highest BASE jump ever completed.

Rozov spent more than two years preparing for the Everest jump, including a considerable amount of time and effort devoted to developing a special new Wingsuit.

Rozov and his team, which included four sherpas as well as photographers and a camera crew, spent nearly three weeks in the Himalayas before the jump.
